Gas Processing
JSC Shaimerden’s key priorities include growing its processing capacity, generating electricity at its own power plants, and working in the transportation and gas production industries. The most cutting-edge machinery is employed throughout JSC Shaimerden to guarantee peak performance in every facet of petroleum gas usage. In order to collect and use related petroleum gas, the gas must be processed as a component of an integrated system. The company’s state-of-the-art gas processing facilities can generate both liquid hydrocarbons and dry stripped gas, which are widely used in Kazakhstan’s commercial and industrial activities. The company produces high-quality products that meet both the technical requirements of the Customs Union and Kazakhstani government regulations.
Priorities for JSC Shaimerden include gas production and supply, as well as the growth of processing capacity and energy generation at its own power plants. To guarantee that connected petroleum gas consumption runs as efficiently as possible, JSC Shaimerden utilizes the most up-to-date equipment in each location. An essential part of a larger system that gathers and uses the gas is processing related petroleum gas. The company’s cutting-edge gas processing facility can create both liquid hydrocarbons and dry stripped gas, which are widely used in Kazakhstani industry and commerce. The plant produces high-quality items that meet state and Customs Union technical criteria.

Gas processing facilities
As the only company in the republic can process associated petroleum gas and a large fraction of light hydrocarbons, UTNGP is an effective commercial division of the company that produces technical sulfur and a wide range of high-quality individual fractions. The completion of JSC Shaimerden’s primary tasks serves as the foundation for the formulation of the UTNGP development strategy. Comprehensive APG processing that maximizes the selection of target components from the potential, prompt delivery of superior products to both domestic and international customers.
The operations of UTNPP enable the provision of the entire suite of procedures for processing associated petroleum gas and SHFLU supplied from JSC Shaimerden’s fields. These procedures include the following: separation of gas and SHFLU into individual fractions: propane, isobutane, isopentane, pentane-isopentane fractions, fractions of normal butane, and stable gas gasoline; compression; drying from moisture; and gas purification from acidic components to obtain elemental sulfur.
Presently, the management of JSC Shaimerden manufactures nearly all of the gas processing items and high-quality goods under the “A” and “Higher” brands. To set the company apart from other GPPs, the management’s gas processing facilities select the maximum amount of individual hydrocarbon fractions from APG and SHFLU: more than 91% ethane, 96% propane, 91% isobutane, 94% normal butane, and more than 98% C5+ hydrocarbons and higher.
Products from the management are in high demand both domestically and in distant and nearby nations. The Department uses pipelines, roads, and trains to deliver goods to JSC Shaimerden and other businesses in Russia and its surrounding nations. By investing in facility reconstruction and technical re-equipment of management facilities, JSC Shaimerden was able to boost gas processing capacity, broaden product range, and enhance product quality, making it competitive and in demand both domestically and internationally.
It is possible to separate nitrogen from dry distilled gas to boost its caloric content and stop the loss of valuable carbon raw materials, such as hydrocarbons C2 and higher, thanks to the operation of a special cryogenic plant for deep processing of dry distilled gas that was introduced in 2010 and has no counterparts in the nation. The JSC Shaimerden Management successfully carries out programs to expand production capacity, stabilize gas processing volumes, and produce highly competitive finished goods. It also successfully administers an engineering and technical policy that is focused on innovation.
