General Information
JSC Shaimerden is a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company based in Kazakhstan. Its main focus is on buying and developing properties in the North Caspian Basin, which is located onshore in western Kazakhstan. Every year, JSC Shaimerden expands its production and exploration capabilities, applies cutting-edge technologies to improve oil recovery, and improves its HSE policy. In addition to interacting with governmental and non-governmental organizations, the INK Group places a high priority on people development and efficient administration of internal company operations.
The principal business of JSC Shaimerden, which is the largest of Kazakhstan’s small and medium-sized independent oil and gas production businesses, By using cutting-edge technologies and a driven staff of experts, JSC Shaimerden keeps solidifying its place in the nation’s oil and gas sector.
JSC Shaimerden produces a wide range of oil products. Liquefied hydrocarbon gases, motor gasoline, diesel fuel, oil fuel (mazout), bitumen in different grades (for roofs, buildings, and roads), petroleum coke, and vacuum gas oil are all included. The complexes of crude oil primary distillation (LK-6U), compounding and oil product dispatch, crude oil advanced processing (a fuel complex, KT-1 for deep processing of fuel oil), and heavy oil residue processing (which includes several process units, including a delayed coking unit) make up the refinery’s structure.
Bitumen Production Unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Sulfur Granulation Unit, and Coke Calcination Unit. Oil Sludge Processing and Hydrogen Production Units and the Central Refinery Laboratory (CRL) are two sizable auxiliary units of the refinery. As part of the upgrade project, the refinery built two new process unit complexes, the Complex of Sulfur Recovery Units and the Isomerization and Naphtha Splitter unit, which were put into service in December 2022. The development of the twelve new U&O facilities was done so that they may be used for regular tasks.
The Complex of Crude Oil Primary Distillation, the Complex of Crude Oil Advanced Processing, the Delayed Coking Unit, and other operating production facilities were also upgraded. Each of these procedures made guaranteed that K-4 motor fuels, such gasoline and diesel with RON-92 and 95, were produced in compliance with the Customs Union’s technical specifications. The corporation has state-of-the-art utilities and off-site facilities, such as loading and unloading racks for the transportation of oil products by rail and road, liquefied gas tank farms, and raw feed and commodities tank farms.
The refinery’s proactive social policy creates the circumstances for life, work, and employee wellness. Increasing the refinery’s technical capabilities, increasing output for a three-year repair cycle, producing motor fuels that meet ecological classes K4, K5, and meeting international standards for Jet A jet fuel—all firsts for the refinery—in the quantities needed to meet national needs are currently its top priorities.
